On July 14th, WNCN’s Carleigh Griffeth produced a news clip entitled “UNC’s ‘Trauma Day’ gives students different look at distracted driving accident”.
The short video describes the “Trauma Day” held for the UNC Health Care Jr Volunteers. The case this year featured a teen that only looked at her phone “only two seconds”. The Hospital Volunteers cared for the patient from securing her to a backboard through her initial presentation in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
