Internationally recognized simulation expert Dr. Carol Durham receives Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Presidential Citation at their annual scientific meeting. The citation was presented by the SSH President Dr. Chad Epps for her service to the simulation community and particularly her efforts for the SSH.
Dr. Durham is a Professor in the UNC School of Nursing and Director of the school’s Education-Innovation-Simulation Learning Environment (EISLE) center. She has served in many capacities in many organizations supporting simulation education that also include her recent stent as President of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning.
