Carolinas_Peds_Airway_Zdanski_1The annual Carolinas’ Pediatric Airway Course was hosted by the UNC Department of Otolaryngology this week. This event rotates between UNC and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) each year.

Course participants gain experience with a variety of surgical techniques for management of pediatric airway problems. They also develop and improve skills of airway management and bronchoscopic technique by managing emergent scenarios in the simulation laboratory.
