While Tamara Robertson (MythBusters: The Search) watches, physicians (L-R) Erin Munns, Tarshree Sawyer, and Zach Smith practice patient care in this electrical failure #UNCsim. Using their cell phone lights and traditional practices, they kept the simulated “baby” alive and well. This is a great opportunity to review backup systems and procedures in resource limited conditions.
In addition to assisting with this #UNCsim, Robertson has been traveling the country promoting and observing STEM education. Robertson holds a chemical and biomolecular engineering degree from NC State.
