On July 1st, Dr. Schlottmann, Mr. Murty, and Dr. Patti published an article in the Journal of Laparoendoscopic & Advanced Surgical Techniques on their model for laparoscopic foregut surgery.
Their model was effective for laparoscopic procedures including a Heller myotomy, Nissen fundoplication, sleeve gastrectomy. The images to the right are from the article of the simulation OR setup and the porcine organ block.
