September is Sepsis Awareness Month and on the 26th IHQI hosted a World Sepsis Day event in the Children’s Hospital Lobby.
Thank you to UNC Children’s Simulation Committee members Ms Amy Selimos and Ms Dian Gulick who took the time to staff the World Sepsis Day activity.
The team demonstrated push/ pull fluid bolus and talked about how simulation continues to improve our sepsis outcomes in the Children’s Hospital. Our work with sepsis simulation was also highlighted and recognized during the event presentations.
