The Mid Carolina Regional Advisory Committee on Trauma held a multidisciplinary table top drill focused on patient surge to the UNC Medical Center.
This interprofessional exercise brings together over 20 disciplines to work through the unique challenges and problems problems related to care situations in which hospital resources around the area would be taxed to their limits. Input and insight gained from this large group of professionals is used to identify pressure points, test solutions, and streamline procedures.
