On January 26th, Dr. Jason Franz from the Joint UNC-CH and NCSU Biomedical Engineering Department presented with a team of Virtual Reality (VR) experts from around the Triangle to provide an overview of resources available within the UNC System for research, education, and patient care. This presentation also served to bring together teams from around the state that have an interest in growing their use of VR.
This event is part of a University of North Carolina Inter-institutional Planning Grant (IPG) Program award entitled “UNC System Collaboration to use Virtual Reality to address Human Health Challenges” that was awarded to Franz and Dr. Rhea (UNC-G).
