The Society for Pediatric Anesthesia (SPA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently held their annual Pediatric Anesthesiology meeting from Mar 23 – 25, 2018 in Phoenix. A Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCA®) course was held as part of the post conference opportunities. MOCA® is a program overseen by the American Board of Anesthesiology® to promote better patient care in their delegate population.
UNCsim faculty, Drs Kim Blasius from Pediatric Anesthesia and Benny Joyner from Pediatrics, were part of the MOCA® course faculty at the meeting.
