The Department of Pediatrics simulation team has joined the International Network for Simulation-based Pediatric Innovation, Research, and Education (INSPIRE) Network. Following the 2016 International Meeting on Medical Simulation, Dr Joyner announced that the team would be joining INSPIRE to further the core missions of simulation within the Department of Pediatrics and UNC Children’s Hospital.
The INSPIRE Network was established in 2011 to bring together “novice and expert researchers, educators, and clinicians who are interested in collaborating across the globe to improve the care delivered to all neonates, infants, and children, using simulation.”
Through INSPIRE, teams will have the ability to gather feedback on new research protocols and grant proposals as well as grow collaborations with many top pediatric simulation programs.
