Mr. Neal Murty has served as the Manager of The Multidisciplinary Simulation Laboratory, formerly the Clinical Learning and Research (CLeAR) Center.

During his tenure, Murty helped facilitate the lab becoming an Accredited Education Institue by the American College of Surgeons. The development of models for interprofessional simulations and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) simulations allowed our teams to tackle valuable quality and patient safety issues. More recently, his work on the Standardized, lnterdepartmental, Simulation-Based Central Line Insertion Course and The University of North Carolina Foregut Model have proven the value of task specific training to make our teams more efficient.

Thank you for everything you have done for #UNCsim Neal and good luck at East Carolina University (ECU)!
