Today at the International Meeting on Medical Simulation (IMSH), Gene Hobbs, former Director of Simulation for Pediatrics and the School of Medicine, was recognized by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Simulation Operations and Technology Section (SOTS) for his “contributions and service to the SSH and Section.
A short note was included in the “IMSH Daily” newsletter at the meeting from SOTS Chair Adam Dodson recognizing Hobbs along with Kam McCowan and Hans Lamkin for their service.
Hobbs now serves as the Business Manager for the Department of Neurosurgery where he has remained active with some simulation research and activities in support of their residency program.
