Students in the EISLE per semester

  • Undergraduate:
    • Each student individually spends 52-53 hours in the EISLE labs/simulation rooms before graduation, spread out over either 4 (ABSN, n = 64) or 6 (BSN, n = 104) semesters.
    • Spring Semester 464 students per semester
      • 64 ABSN students in N360 Concepts, Processes, and Skills for Evidence-Based Nursing labs
        • Each student spends 34 hours in labs
        • 3 hours/week x 10 weeks (1920 student hours)
        • 4 hours/semester for evaluations/simulation (256 student hours)

Teaching Assistant Mentorship

  • We hire 6 Teaching Assistants (TAs) each year and mentor them into the role of a nurse educator. Each TA is assigned a lab section or two to teach all semester,
