The Department of Otolaryngology held their 2nd annual UNC Head and Neck Microvascular Course on June 2nd.
This course is a one day skills program designed to provide hands-on experience using cadaver specimens aimed at the head and neck surgeons in-training and at the fellowship levels. The course takes place in the NC Eye Bank Multidisciplinary Surgical Skills Laboratory.
The course is Directed by Dr Samip Patel. The course also featured guest faculty member Dr. Ralph Gilbert from the University of Toronto. Other faculty included Drs. Blumberg, Hackman, and Howard.
