As March arrives, many of our #UNCsim learners transition to their next phase of training.
School of Medicine learners prepare to move from the foundation phase into their application phase. They covered many skills that will assist them with their early patient care experiences. All 180+ medical students rotated through stations covering fluid administration, taking samples, and other skills that will assist the teams at the bedside.
Many of our fourth year medical students prepare to transition into pediatrics residencies. These teams worked with a large interprofessional faculty team to review and practice skills specific to their upcoming pediatric internship year.
