On October 17th, Susan Keating published an article in People Magazine featuring Dr. Carol Durham. The article describes Durham’s battle with sepsis and her efforts to educate clinicians and the public on early recognition of this life threatening event.
Dr. Durham is a Professor in the UNC School of Nursing and Director of the school’s Education-Innovation-Simulation Learning Environment (EISLE) center. She has served in many capacities in many organizations supporting simulation education that also include her recent stent as President of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning.
